AKITA CLUB OF AMERICA SITE REQUIREMENTS (2002)
Access to a 10,000 square feet of Ballroom space.
Can be broken down into 8,000 sq ft of actual Ballroom
and 2,000 sq feet for vendor space.
Two Breakout rooms -
One room from Sunday through Saturday.
Second for
use Monday through Saturday.
Must be large enough for 70 people theatre style.
Additional Breakout room 3,500 square feet for Auction and Annual Meeting.
Ballroom could be used if an additional space is not present. Must fit 250
theatre style.
If we are not able to set up grooming tents outdoors, we require 2,000 sq ft.
to be set indoors for grooming. Hot and cold running water is also needed.
We need a 100 x 100 outdoor flat grassed area for Agility. This will be used
on Tuesday morning.
Banquet Requirements:
Welcome reception on Tuesday evening, with cash bar, hot and cold food
items.
Two cash bars.
Full cash bar on Wednesday and Friday. No Food.
Sit down dinner for 250, two full cash bars for Saturday evening.
Main Ballroom must be turned over for this event.
Buffet breakfast and lunches, Wednesday through Saturday.
Sleeping Rooms
The room block varies starting with
25 rooms on Sunday,
50 on Monday,
125-150 Wednesday through Friday,
100 on Saturday.
Comp rooms should be on a cumulative basis.
Comp rooms one per 25 is requested.
Individual guests are responsible for all payment, incidentals and cancellation
fees.
The ACA will need and additional 25 rooms for which a rooming list will be
provided. Billing instruction will accompany each individual on this list.
Additional Requirements
Room for fifteen to twenty motor homes to park from Monday through Saturday.
One last consideration, if the property does not have ample area outside to
exercise dogs, we will need to put up exercise pens in the parking lot.
