ACA Annual Auction
Greetings!
Well as you know, the National is right around the corner and we need your help. Last year’s ACA Auction was a fabulous success. This year we are looking to up our game but we can’t do it without you. Donations last year were amazingly generous and by far surpassed our expectations. The entire auction team was overwhelmed by your desire to help raise money for our club. Many auction items were well sought after and bidding wars made for an exciting evening.
The money raised is distributed to three very important parts of the club: Rescue, Illustrated Standard and the ACA. When you donate to this event you have the three options as to where the dollars raised will go. There is a donation form linked here so you can choose where you would like the money, raised from your auction item, to go.
Any item or items you would like to donate to help raise money for this event would be greatly appreciated. If you don’t have an item to donate but would still like to help out, we have a list of items needed or you can make a cash donations and we will fill in the gaps. Items do not need to be Akita related. Just think of something you might like to see auctioned off that would incite a bidding war; remember we are all about raising lots of funds for our event.
Since our National is in Colorado, this year the theme will be western attire. If you plan on attending make sure you wear your western gear, even if it’s only your favorite cowboy hat. Plus, there will be a hilarious game to play if you bid nicely. This is a fun event not only to raise money but also to meet existing members and newbies alike.
So here is where you come in, start thinking about what you would like to donate and get it ready to send or bring with you. It takes a “team” to pull this event off and we need YOU to be a part of it! Again, we thank everyone who donated last year; we are hoping you will once again help us out. Let’s make this the biggest auction the ACA has ever had!!!
If you have any questions or need a few creative ideas, please feel free to reach out to me.
